Forgotten Cinema - King Creole

Time for the Mikes to go back to 1958 New Orleans and channel their inner King for this week's episode of Forgotten Cinema. We're talking about King Creole.

This episode of Forgotten Cinema Season 5: Audience Choice! is brought to us by G.I. Gary over at the Pint O' Comics podcast.

Listen in as the Mike Field and Mike Butler discuss this early Elvis Presley film, directed by Michael Curtiz, who directed a small film you may have heard of called Casablanca. They'll talk about the authentic outdoor sets, what does and doesn't work in terms of character development, the use of lighting, and of course...the King himself.

Thanks again to G.I. Gary and find out more about Pint O' Comics and listen to their podcast wherever you listen to your podcasts.

So grab your popcorn and soda, please notice the exits at the front and rear of the auditorium, and settle down for Forgotten Cinema
