Re-Animator | Forgotten Horror 8
Oh man, the cat died. Or did he?! That's right, we're playing with the dead this week as we check out this neon-green juice that can stimulate dead tissue. It's H.P. Lovecraft's Re-Animator!
Jeffrey Combs, in the arguably the role his best known for, plays Herbert West, an upstart graduate student and scientist who's looking to cheat death with his fancy syringe filled with the inside of a glow stick. (We are partial to Combs in The Frighteners)
We also talk about the lead character, Dan (Bruce Abbott), who doesn't really do leading man things, the weird, creepy sexual obsession from Dr. Carl Hill (David Gale), which had some negative effects in his personal life, and much more! Check out the episode!
