For countless episodes, we would bring up the movie Restoration, and when we checked it out, we wondered...why did we not know this movie? Butler had an excuse. He was 8 years-old when this film came out late in 1995. Field...well, he should've known. He was old enough.
But finally, Michael Hoffman's historical fiction tale about17th-century medical student, Robert Merviel (Robert Downey Jr.) being exploited by King Charles II (Sam Neill) by being married to the king's mistress (Polly Walker) so that the king can be with her has finally entered the Forgotten Cinema catalog of films. Expect our Steel Case Box Set in 2027.n
